The 1817 Primary-Scale KPEG Bust
An official, early-period casting by the Königlich Preußische Eisengießerei (Royal Prussian Iron Foundry) at Gleiwitz. This commemorative 300th-anniversary piece is an extensive modification of Johann Gottfried Schadow’s famous 1817 portrait, physically modeled for sand-casting by the master artisan Wilhelm August Stilarsky (exhibited at the Berlin Academy in 1818).

Details: Features a hollow sand-core interior and faint, period-accurate hand-tooling marks. The original schwarz gebrannt patina has been professionally conserved and stabilized to a rich, matte charcoal-satin finish. The base bears the crisp Latin inscription: LUTHERO POST TRIA SAECULA NEPOTUM PIETAS MDCCCXVII.
Which translates to "To Luther, after three centuries, the piety of descendants, 1817".

The Berlin Iron Portrait Ring
A magnificent piece of early 19th-century patriotic and religious jewelry, allowing the wearer to carry the reformer's likeness in intimate detail. The stark, matte-black iron silhouette is forced into brilliant visual relief by a highly reflective contrast backing.

The ironwork displays minor micro-abrasions commensurate with over 200 years of history, which only adds to their exceptional character.
